Terms of Service
Draft for legal review — last updated September 21, 2026.
These terms are the agreement between CoreLink Digital Solutions ("CoreLink", "we") and the business that signs up for the service ("you"). By creating an account, accepting an invitation to one, or using the CoreLink app or receptionist, you agree to them.
1. What CoreLink is
CoreLink answers your business phone line with an AI receptionist, books appointments onto your calendar, and gives you an app to manage customers, calls, schedule, jobs, estimates, invoices and payments. We set the receptionist up for you and change it when you ask us to; you do not configure the underlying systems yourself.
2. Your account
- You must be 18 or older and authorized to act for the business.
- Keep your password private. You are responsible for what happens under your account, including what your staff do with the access you give them.
- Give us accurate information (business name, hours, service area, contact details) and keep it current — the receptionist relies on it.
- Tell us promptly if you think your account has been accessed without permission.
3. Calls, recordings and your customers
- The receptionist tells callers that calls may be recorded. You are responsible for complying with the call-recording and consumer-protection laws that apply to your business and your callers, including where callers are in states that require every party's consent.
- The information the receptionist collects from callers belongs to your business. You are responsible for how you use it and for honoring your customers' privacy requests; we help you do that (see our Privacy Policy).
- Texts sent through CoreLink go out from your business number. You must only text people who have a reasonable expectation of hearing from you, and you must honor stop requests.
4. What the receptionist can and cannot do
The receptionist is software. It follows the instructions we set up with you and does its best with what callers say, but it can mishear, misunderstand or make a mistake, and it is not a substitute for a person in an emergency. It does not give legal, medical, financial or safety advice, and it is not a 911 service. Review your calls and bookings regularly; the app is built so you can.
5. Fees and billing
- Free month. Your first month is free and needs no card. Before it ends we confirm your monthly price with you in writing.
- Monthly plan. After the free month, your plan is billed monthly in advance to the card on file. If there is no card on file when the free month ends, the receptionist pauses until one is added; your records stay available.
- Failed payments. If a payment fails we tell you and retry. After 7 days without a successful payment the receptionist pauses.
- Customer payments. Payments from your customers are processed by Stripe under Stripe's Connected Account Agreement, which you accept when you set up payouts. Money goes to your Stripe balance and then your bank; CoreLink never holds it. CoreLink charges a platform fee on each payment collected through the app — the rate is shown in the app before you send a request and in More → Getting paid — and Stripe charges its own processing fee. Cash and check payments you record yourself are free.
- Refunds. You issue refunds to your customers from the app; CoreLink returns its platform fee on the refunded amount. Plan fees are not refundable for partial months.
- Price changes. We give at least 30 days' notice by email before a plan price changes.
6. Cancelling
Cancel any time by emailing support@corelinkdigitalsolutions.com from the email on your account, or by deleting your account in the app. Service continues to the end of the period you have paid for. After that, your account is closed and your data is deleted on the schedule in the Privacy Policy. Export anything you need before then; we will help if you ask.
We can suspend or end your account if you break these terms, do not pay, or use the service in a way that harms others or us. Where we can, we will warn you first.
7. Acceptable use
Do not use CoreLink to break the law, to harass or deceive people, to send unsolicited marketing, to collect information you have no right to, or to interfere with the service or other customers. Do not resell the service or try to copy how it works.
8. Ownership
You own your business records and the information your customers give you. You give us permission to store and process them to provide the service, and to use de-identified, aggregated information to improve it. We own the CoreLink software, app, brand and the way the receptionist is built.
9. Availability
We aim to answer every call, and we monitor the service around the clock, but phone networks, carriers and internet providers fail sometimes and we cannot promise the service will never be interrupted. We are not responsible for calls your carrier does not forward to us.
10. Disclaimers and limits
The service is provided "as is". To the extent the law allows, we make no warranties about it, and we are not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential losses, lost profits or lost business — including a missed call, a mis-booked appointment or an inaccurate summary. Our total liability to you for anything arising from the service in any 12-month period is limited to the plan fees you paid us in that period. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
11. Indemnity
You will cover us for claims by third parties (including your customers) arising from your use of the service in breach of these terms or of the law, including call-recording and texting laws.
12. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. For material changes we give account holders at least 30 days' notice by email or in the app. Continuing to use the service after that means you accept the new terms.
13. Law and disputes
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of New York. Before either of us starts a legal claim, we agree to try to resolve the dispute by talking — email us and we will respond within 10 business days. Courts located in New York have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute that cannot be resolved that way.
